Granada hosted Almeria in the last round in a clash of the two worst teams in the league and it was a 1-1 draw. It was Granada’s third draw in a row, having previously drawn 3-3 with Barcelona and 1-1 with Las Palmas. However, the home side have been waiting for a win for six rounds now (0-3-3), which is why they still can’t break out of the relegation zone. Granada are six points behind Granada for salvation before the 26th round.

The mood in Valencia is much happier. Unlike last season, the bats are not facing a relegation battle, and on the contrary, Valencia can even hope to finish in the cup.
