Unexpectedly clear-cut final series of the first hockey league is developing. After four games, Vsetín has created a power play and can convert it in front of its fans, which is a huge motivation.

In a repeat of last year’s final, Zlín won the second game at Lapac, where Vsetín outshot them 50:17. Vsetín’s shooting superiority in the home games was overwhelming (90:39), in the weekend game in Zlín the series was visually evened out, but in the details Vsetín was better again, winning 5:3 and 4:3.

Zlín is not playing experienced mainstays (Holík, Köhler), besides Salonen and partly Riedl, the defenders are falling through, Suhrada, Novotný and Warg are not keeping up, making mistakes and putting out fouls. Vsetín looks more lively, has better movement and the Machala-Zabusovs pair is absolutely unmatched by the Zlin players with their speed. The only weaker Vsetín link is the uncertain goalkeeper Zhukov, but Zlín don’t employ him much. And when the Russian goalie lets something go, his teammates cover it in the offensive zone.

What to bet on:

Vsetin can more or less beat themselves if they don’t get the game in their heads. But that won’t happen, with the prospect of an extra-league barrage, they will take on their regional rival for the fourth time.
