Tottenham came off a run of positive results in the last round at Brighton’s ground, where they lost 2:3 and enter the next fights from ninth place. West Ham have two points less, but last time they managed to break the wait for a win, when they clearly defeated the newcomer from Ipswich 4-1 at home.

Losing a two-goal lead and losing the game during the second half did not please Spurs fans, on the other hand coach Postecoglu will not change his style. The last game might have benefited from more caution, but it was the same Tottenham fans who demanded an entertaining style of play when trophies are no longer being won. And that is happening, as the 14-8 scoreline proves. Two wins and one loss in front of their own fans (score 7:2) suggest that we won’t be bored this time either.

There was a sense of satisfaction in the West Ham camp after the win over Ipswich. Coach Julen Lopetegui finally notched his first home league win and the fans were happy – exactly the kind of performance they wanted when David Moyes left. That it is far from ideal, however, is confirmed by the fact that Jarrod Bowen has not been called up to the national team. The visitors will now want to build on the positive result away from home, where they have not lost yet this season (1-2-0).

What to bet on:

In terms of first halves, Tottenham are the second-best team in the league – they went into the break five out of seven times with a lead on their opponents, as indicated by their PL score from the opening 45 minutes (8-2). West Ham, on the other hand, have won the first half just once (1-2-4).
