Valencia didn’t give much joy to their fans in the packed schedule before the national break. Against Osasuna (0:0), Real Sociedad (0:3) and Leganés (0:0) the “bats” did not score and with only five goals scored they are the worst in the whole competition (together with Leganés). Also, their 1-3-5 record and the resulting six points are only good enough for second to last place. Monday’s match against Las Palmas will be extremely important for both sides, as the visitors are the only team that is worse off than Valencia.
