The 0:2 loss at Manchester City probably didn’t surprise Leicester fans. However, their team is already 12 points behind the relegation zone and slowly heading back to the second league. Newcastle, on the other hand, beat Brentford (2:1) thanks to Sandro Tonali’s goal and are in the fight for the Champions League.

Leicester have now lost 10 home games this season (2-3-10), including their last seven league games in a row. The main problem is the fact that they have failed to score a single goal in any of these seven games, losing each time by a difference of at least two goals. Moreover, on the previous two occasions he scored four times in the first half. Leicester have scored at least two goals in 11 of their 15 home games so far.

Newcastle have won seven away games this season (including five of the last seven) and their travelling form is improving. It has also won both games at the ground of two other relegation zone sides, scoring at least three goals each time (3-1, 4-0). The result of the first mutual encounter, which Magpies won 4-0, promises entertainment for the visiting fans.

What to bet on:

The favourite for the match is clearly the cup contenders Newcastle, who have won five of their last seven away games, with the exception of trips to Liverpool and Manchester City. Leicester are hardly a match for them, and it is likely that the visitors will take an early lead: the Foxes, after all, have lost the first half on nine occasions at home.
