Three league losses in a row, during which Udinese have scored a single goal in total, are beginning to threaten its position in the top half of the table – including the latest 0-1 defeat to Genoa. However, AC Milan, who were 0-2 down after just 10 minutes to Fiorentina last time out, have not won three in a row, but they salvaged at least a point (2-2) in the end.

A 0-1 loss to Hellas Verona ended a three-match home winning streak for Udinese, who, however, have only beaten their better-ranked opponents once here (1-1-4). A very good first half performance is typical for Udinese at the Stadio Friuli, as they have not scored in eight games in a row here, five of which they have led after the first half.

AC Milan lost 1-2 in their last outing in Naples and it was the sixth loss for them in their last eight away games. The Rossoneri have also lost three of their last four league away games, and on two occasions a missed penalty played a part. But the problem for the visitors is mainly the defensive side, which has conceded at least two goals in each of the last four away games.

What to bet on:

Udinese are one of the best teams in the league (8-4-3) in terms of first halves at home and have not scored once in their last eight appearances here before the break. It also went into the cabins with a lead against AS Roma or Napoli during that period, so there is a good chance that it will repeat something similar in the clash with AC Milan.
