Inter have been in a huge crisis in seven days. Two rounds back it held the first place lead over Napoli, but after losses to Bologna and AS Roma (0:1) it is now three points behind. Add to that the elimination in the cup after a heavy defeat to AC Milan (0:3) and a still busy schedule (Champions League semi-final with Barcelona) and coach Inzaghi’s charges are facing a very unpleasant situation.

The defending champions were thinking of winning the famous Treble, but in the end this may turn out to be a season they will want to forget quickly. For that not to happen, he now absolutely has to get through a home game against Verona, who are basically not playing for much anymore. And Inter can do well against teams from 10th place or worse – they have won all of their ten games here so far against such opponents, scoring exactly three goals in half of them.
