Between February 10 and March 5, Real Sociedad lost all it could. Twice they fell short to PSG, which saw them out of the Champions League (0:2, 1:2). Erreale is now well away from playing in the Champions League for the second time in a row, as it is already 10 points behind the top four from sixth place, despite the fact that it managed to stop the drop in results in the last two rounds with two wins over teams fighting for salvation (Granada 3-2, Cadiz 2-0).

What to bet on:

Alavés is in a similar league to Cadiz and Granada, whom Real managed to beat before the national break. In the table, the home side are slightly better off (13th place) than the aforementioned two clubs, but Deportivo have won just one of their last seven league fixtures (1-3-3). The visitors are favourites, but the safer bet would be to back the pair in the ‘game without a draw’ sub-game.
