After a decent start, Brighton stuck around and lost 2-4 at Chelsea after three league draws in a row last time out. The visitors from Tottenham are going for their second away league game in a row, but after a 3-0 win at Manchester United, they probably don’t mind twice.

Fabian Hurzeler’s charges were subjected to a Cole Palmer rampage last time out, netting four goals, but their defence was on fire in their previous games as well. And so far, the young coach doesn’t seem to be looking to change his style of play, although only a great save from the goalkeeper at Arsenal and a stick against Ipswich saved him from defeat. The general impression lately is that opponents have little trouble getting through the Seagulls defence.

Also as a result of these results, striker Dominic Solanke has earned a nomination to the national team after recording three goals and an assist in his last four games. It’s hardly noticeable that Spurs are still playing without injured captain Son.
