It’s more or less clear who will advance to the second round, Jeffrey De Graaf has been given a darts player from the Bahamas as his opponent.

While the Swede with Dutch roots has experience from the World Championships, where he reached the 3rd round last year, Rashad Sweeting will make his debut in Ally Pally and it will be his first ever televised match, on the biggest stage. It won’t be a surprise if his legs and arms are shaking.

Sweeting’s quality isn’t great and he’d have problems on the Czech tour. He has a low three-dart average of 75.15 at the PDC over the past year, he also shows a low closing success rate (28.37%) and needs ten legos for one 180. De Graaf’s numbers are at least a level higher, he has been regularly throwing over 90 points on three darts lately.

What to bet on:

De Graaf blitzes through to the second round and doesn’t allow the exotic opponent to do much. Of the underdogs, you can bet that the Swede will have a higher close while throwing more 180s, or risk that Sweeting won’t even record a single 180.
