The French have been 100 percent at their home Olympics so far and have shown their quality in all the duels. They have kept a clean sheet three times and advanced from first place in Group A with a score of 7:0. France beat the United States and New Zealand 3-0, and only against Guinea did the home side struggle to finish, but still took full points after a 1-0 win.

The Argentines are not playing as convincingly as expected. They fell 1:2 to the Moroccans right at the start, but after that they came back to their best against the outsiders. They beat both Iraq and Ukraine by two goals, but only once in the whole group stage did they manage to keep a clean sheet, which will be an almost impossible task against the disciplined French, who play with great ease.

What to bet on:

The home team is showing a confident performance that will continue in the quarterfinals. On the other hand, France’s defence will give the Argentines a lot of problems, while they themselves have to focus on the gaps in their own defence, which the French will exploit ruthlessly to advance to the next stage.
