While Baník got an extra league day off from the LFA after Thursday’s cup rematch in Armenia, Mladá Boleslav was not so lucky and after Thursday’s game in Lithuania they will have to play Sunday in Hradec Králové. It was the victory in the return match that secured the Central Bohemians their tenth jubilee season in the European Cups.

Boleslav managed to enter the Conference League without major problems, beating Transinvest twice with a clean sheet (2:0, 1:0 at home) and will challenge Be’er Sheva of Israel in the third round. Holoubek’s team kept zero for the third time in a row and after a collapse with two players sent off in Jablonec (0:2) the team immediately picked up.

But the question is what Thursday’s game on the heavy artificial grass in Vilnius will do to the team, especially the travel. Boleslav’s squad is not as qualitatively broad as Sparta, Slavia or Plzen.

Hradec remains behind expectations so far, after the spring run the Votros have stuttered and the game is not good. With the maximum help of luck, they beat Teplice 1:0 at home with a last minute goal by stopper Spáčil and then lost only 0:1 in Plzeň, but they failed to convince again. The team is missing experienced players Krejci, Vlkanova, Pilař for health reasons, who should make a difference in the offense. As it is, Hradecky’s performance is stodgy, without spark.

What to bet on:

A tough duel to pick. Hradec is out of form, the visitors have a Thursday trip to Lithuania behind them. A draw looks likely, at half time, or a double chance at the end. You can wait for the cards, Votroci continue the trend of one of the most punishing teams in the competition – in two rounds they have already collected ten yellow cards, once as many as the second team behind them.
