Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz gave an excellent performance at the Estoril tournament last week, which earned him his eighth ATP title. He won the final against Spanish clay player Pedro Martinez 6:3, 6:4, hitting 15 aces and not facing a single break point. In a way, it was a perfect match from his side.

Hurkacz would like to carry this form to Monte Carlo, where he will face a rematch in the first round with Jack Draper, whom he beat in the second round 6:3, 6:7, 7:5 last year in Monaco. And he will be the favourite this time as well.

The 22-year-old Draper hasn’t played much on clay so far in his career. The British youngster is more likely to play on hard surfaces or indoors, and has only played 31 matches on clay courts among professionals. However, clay tournaments are simply unavoidable among the best, so this year he will try to improve a little on his record from last year, when he recorded three wins and three defeats during this part of the season.

What to bet on:

Hurkacz is in excellent form, having won the clay tournament in Estoril, and could be one of the players to go far in Monte Carlo if he can maintain his form from the Portuguese event. He will take on the young British Draper in the first round and beat him for the second time at the Monaco Masters.
