Thursday’s match between Fiorentina and Inter ended with a rather unexpected 3-0 win for the Tuscan side, which moved within a point of fourth-placed Lazio. Inter, on the other hand, lost the opportunity to match the points gained by the leader Napoli and its return to the top of the table has been postponed.

Inter return to the San Siro as the home team after two competitive duels. In that case, it beat Monaco 3-0 in the LM here last time, its second home game in a row in which it scored exactly three goals. Four of them were scored by captain Lautaro Martínez. Fiorentina have scored first in four of their last five away games, while Inter have led at home after the first 45 minutes on two of the previous three occasions and managed to score twice each time.
