The third round of Wimbledon will offer a very attractive clash between world number 18 Anna Kalinskaya and WTA number 15 Lyudmila Samsonova.

Before Wimbledon Kalinskaya played only the tournament in Berlin, where she reached the final. There, she was outclassed by world number five Jessica Pegula. At Wimbledon, she did not lose a set and knocked out Maria Bouzkova in the second round.

Samsonova played three tournaments before the grass Grand Slam. She had an excellent start to this part of the season, winning the event in Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. But then she lost in the first round in Berlin and in the eighth round in Bad Homburg. She certainly could not be satisfied with these results, just as she could not be satisfied with her performance in the first round of Wimbledon. However, she defeated Rebecca Masarova in three sets and in the second round she took on Jelina Avanesian.

What to bet on:

Anna Kalinska has better current form than Samsonova. Although it won’t be an easy match for her, she will beat her compatriot and advance to the first Wimbledon eight-final of her career.
