Sevilla have largely struggled through this league season as well, and with eight rounds to go they are only 14th in the competition. It is also six points behind twelfth-placed Las Palmas, a newcomer this season. However, the points gap might not widen after Sunday’s clash. The home team has not been doing well of late. The Canaries have lost three times in a row and have not scored a single goal (Bilbao 0:2, Almería 0:1, Barcelona 0:1). Las Palmas has been waiting for a win for six rounds (0-2-4).

Sevilla, on the other hand, managed to import all the points from Getafe in the last league round (1-0), and thus mended their spirits after their previous home loss to Celta Vigo (1-2). Since the end of January, however, the Andalusian side has lost only twice, including the aforementioned game against Celta (4-3-2), and can therefore boast clearly better form than the home side.

What to bet on:

Apart from their better current situation, the fact that they have been doing well against Las Palmas for a long time plays into the hands of the visitors. Sevilla have beaten it six times in a row. Thus, the ticket should at least tolerate its non-loss on Sunday.
