Sparta won the first two games of the series with Liberec 3:2, once after a shootout and once after overtime. Coach Pavel Gross can be satisfied with the development of the series, but less so with the performance. In the first home games in the quarter-finals of the play-offs, however, they did not fully confirm this and struggled to win.
