Home team Mladá Boleslav will want to forget about the bad season last year. Over the summer they brought in some interesting reinforcements (Furch, Lakatos, Rekonen, Buchtele or Moses). However, the latter will miss a significant part of this season due to injury. The biggest loss for Bruslare is clearly the departure of their best player from last season, Róbert Lantos, to Liberec. In the preparation, the Central Bohemians regularly alternated wins and losses, but the soundness of their opponents was not great. Unless Boleslav manages to significantly improve the poor offensive performance from last season, their point gains will depend heavily on Dominik Furch’s performance.

The visitors from Olomouc, as usual, did not make any major changes in the off-season. Petr Fridrich arrived from Vítkovice to replace Jan Bambula. Mora got a reinforcement in the form of Matej Machovský, who did not have a successful last season. Mora played a pretty good preparation, losing only two out of eight games. Olomouc will continue to rely on the compactness and long-standing cohesion of their team this year. The most important issue will be productivity, just like with the Icebreakers.

What to bet on:

Both teams were among the worst offensively in the league last season. We can’t expect any drastic improvement on either side quickly, so we’re going with the lower number of goals scored on the ticket.
