On paper, the eight-final between Mladá Boleslav and Bohemians is not a favourite. The two neighbours from the middle group of the league table meet.

Although Mlada Boleslav have four points more than the Kangaroos, their spring form has been variable, similar to the autumn. The team is alternating defeats (Slavia 0:1, Liberec 1:3) with wins (Teplice 2:1, Pardubice 3:0), young striker Vojta is scoring well, he has scored in the last three matches, and goalkeeper Mandous has scored his first Boleslav zero.

Bohemians haven’t lost yet in the spring and this weekend they will face the prestigious Vršovice derby on the field of the sovereign Slavia. The Kangaroos have jumped from 12th to 8th place thanks to a successful entry, and they have strengthened their defensive position. In three out of four matches they kept a clean sheet (Jablonec 1:0, Budějovice 1:0, Liberec 0:0), but they are scraping ahead, scoring two goals only in Hradec (2:2), where they lost a two-goal lead.
