Linda Noskova is absolutely dominating in Prague. She allowed five games to Katarina Zavacka, three to Eva Lysova (but she broke in the second set) and four to Ella Seidel as she outplayed her in Wednesday’s quarterfinal 6:1, 6:3. One of the reasons is that she was playing against paper-weaker players, however, she has been losing frequently to paper-weaker opponents in recent weeks, so her resurgence in the dress rehearsal before Paris is excellent news.

However, she will face a slightly different calibre in the semi-finals in the form of fourth seed Magda Linette from Poland. She is a quality clay court player and current world No. 8, having beaten Mona Barthel, Rebecca Masarova and Viktoria Tomova in Prague.
