After a 3-2 win at Verona in the last round, in-form Torino have moved to the top of the Serie A table (3-2-0) and remain unbeaten after their first five matches. Lazio, on the other hand, suffered their second defeat of the year, going down 1-2 in Florence due to two goals conceded from penalties. However, they made amends in the Europa League, winning 3-0 at Dynamo Kiev.

Torino is having a great start to the season and all three strikers who managed to score (Sanabria, Zapata and Adams) confirmed their form in the win in Verona. Duván Zapata even scored his 123rd goal in the Serie A since his arrival in 2013, equalling the feat of Paulo Dybala, who has been the best this season. Torino showed that the home goalless draw with Lecce did not upset them in any way and they are definitely a force to be reckoned with in the fight for the cups this season.

Lazio’s results so far this season are based on where they play. At home it’s decent (2-1-0), but away it’s been a consistent two 1-2 losses so far. To the last one in Florence we have to add the one in Udine in the opening round of the competition. Last time, the attempt with Noslino on the tip, who replaced the injured Castellanos, also failed.

What to bet on:

The game in Verona was the best Turin have performed so far since Paolo Vanoli took over. The home side will want to confirm this in front of their fans, where they lost to Lecce (0-0) last time out, but beat Atalanta (2-1) in their first appearance here, proving that they can take on strong opponents.
