After a 0-1 defeat at AS Roma, Verona enter this round with a seven-point lead in the relegation zone and will be looking to take another step towards salvation. However, Cagliari have similar ambitions, having lost 1-2 at home to Fiorentina last time out and are two points behind their next opponents.

The loss in Rome was Verona’s first defeat in the last five rounds (1-3-1) and they only needed two goals to gain these six points! Verona has switched to saving mode and is not playing so recklessly anymore, and it looks like it will be enough to save the day.
