For Zhizhen Zhang, who is Tomas Machac’s doubles partner and the 48th player in the ATP rankings, the favourite part of the season begins. He will be able to play in a number of domestic tournaments in China during the Asian tournament series, and the 27-year-old will kick things off in Hangzhou. Zhang will play Kazakhstan qualifier Denis Yevseyev in the opening round of his first domestic tournament. He changed that in Hangzhou, managing to beat Reilly Opelka and Dalibor Svrchin in three-set duels.
